Whereas the work of therapy is often geared towards gaining consciousness of patterns long established - formed as a result of our personal, familial and cultural history - Life Coaching works with the present, moving into the future.
Neither past, present, nor future are discrete concerns. They tend to overlap as we take the time to self-reflect, process, and make new choices moving forward. Having experience in both modalities (psychotherapy and coaching), the dance between past, present, and future is seamless, and a natural complement in the work.
Life Coaching addresses particular areas of life - personal and/or professional - for improvement and expansion. Like Depth Psychotherapy, the Life Coaching model I use is based on the premise that every person, at core, is essentially creative, resourceful and whole. My goal, in both modalities, is to recognize and champion your essential wholeness and wisdom.
Life Coaching includes identifying your values and goals, and creating a vision of what's next on your journey. I provide the support and accountability, and when appropriate, a deeper look at what might be standing in the way of fulfillment.
